1. Salad:

Eating salads is a super-convenient way to work in a couple of servings of vegetables and/or fruit. Green salads are on the menu of almost every restaurant. 


You can even buy a side salad (with Romaine lettuce, carrots and tomatoes, available with fat-free or reduced-calorie salad dressing) for a buck at many fast food chains these days. And you can make a green salad at home in 5 minutes, armed with a bag of pre-washed salad greens, a few carrots or other veggies, and a bottle of light salad dressing. 

Not only that, but salads are cool, crunchy, and fun to eat (lots of textures, colors, and flavors). Most people enjoy eating salads--even kids! You can customize them to include the fruits and vegetables that appeal to you the most, and whichever ones you have on hand. 

2. Lemon: 

The health benefits of lemon include its use as a treatment of throat infections, indigestion, constipation, dental problems, and fever, internal bleeding, rheumatism, burns, obesity, respiratory disorders, cholera and high blood pressure, while it also benefits hair and skin care. 


Known for its therapeutic property since generations, lemon helps to strengthen your immune system, cleanse your stomach, and it is considered a blood purifier. Lemon juice, especially, has several health benefits associated with it. It is well known as a useful treatment for kidney stones, reducing strokes and lowering body temperature. As a refreshing drink, lemonade helps you to stay calm and cool. 

3. Iced tea: 

Iced tea has proven to be one of the healthiest drinks available. Not only does it revive you on a hot day, but also add to keeping you healthy. Improving health is a multifaceted process. Many of us are already aware of the steps which one needs to take to maintain a healthy life like quit smoking, keeping a check on the level of alcohol consumed, avoiding fried stuff, and including a lot of fruits and veggies in our everyday diet chart. 


But most of us did not know the fact that drinking a glass of iced tea during the day can take care of most of our problems. Iced tea is rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that keep a check on calories consumed during the day.A recent medical study revealed that iced tea has the capability to prevent cavities too! Whereas, drinking sodas promotes cavities. Not only does it refreshes your mind but also improves your health, especially if you are addicted to soda then it is time to change to a healthy cup of iced tea. 

4. Milk: 

 The health benefits of milk include increased bone strength, smoother skin, stronger immune system, prevention of illnesses such as hypertension, dental decay, dehydration, respiratory problems, obesity, osteoporosis and even some forms of cancer.
